All volunteers will receive a Budafest volunteer t-shirt. Volunteers who work two or more shifts will get a free meal.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Can I get my community service log signed for volunteering at Budafest?
Yes, we will sign by volunteer and court-ordered community service logs. When you complete your volunteer shift, check back in with the Volunteer Coordinator to get their signature.
Do I get a break?
If you work one 3-hour shift you do not get a break. However, please rest if necessary. If you are working two or more shifts per day, you get a break every 3 hours and free food from one of the approved food vendors.
Where can I use the restroom?
As a volunteer, you can use the private restrooms reserved for staff and volunteers at the Command Center, where you checked in, Buda Welcome Center, 303 Main Street, Buda, Texas 78610.
Where can I get my free meal?
Volunteers working two consecutive shifts or more in a day will receive a meal ticket to be utilized at one of the approved food vendors for a free meal with a drink. You can redeem your ticket with one of the following vendors:

What should I wear?
We suggest comfortable clothing and walking shoes. You will be provided with a red volunteer vest to help attendees identify you.
Iām a market vendor volunteer. Which vendors do I take care of?
Budafest only handles vendors that are in the vendor areas indicated on the map. All vendor booths outside of those mapped areas belong to a different event market and have their own staff.
Do I get a Budafest t-shirt for volunteering?
Yes, you do get a t-shirt and a volunteer button!
What happens if it rains?
Budafest is rain or shine, so be prepared to work in the rain if you are able. If weather becomes severe, such as thunderstorms or high winds, event staff will announce instructions to the public. Please see your volunteer badge for the emergency action plan and map.
