With the continued rain and poor conditions, combined with the forecast for tomorrow, we have made the very difficult decision to cancel the Sunday portion of Budafest to ensure the safety of our public, vendors, and staff.
Please be aware that we will close Main Street tomorrow from 8am-noon to accommodate vendor cleanup and load out

What if it just rains during the event?
Put on your rain boots and grab a rain poncho. The event is still on!
Have any changes been made to the Budafest activities or schedule due to the weather?
Yes, changes have been made to the event to ensure the safety of our attendees. The event has canceled the following activities:

Carnival
Note: the event will have two fun houses available for enjoyment by purchasing tickets from the vendor.
You say it’s rain or shine, but could Budafest be canceled?
Yes, Budafest could be canceled to ensure the safety of all potential attendees if the weather calls for consistent thunderstorms, high winds, or flooding. Watch this website and the Budafest Facebook page for up-to-date information on the event's status.
The decision to cancel the Friday portion of the event will be made on Thursday by 3:00 p.m.
The decision to cancel the Saturday and Sunday portion or just the Sunday portion of the event will be made on Friday by 3:00 p.m.
What if severe weather occurs at the event?
In the case of lightning, high winds, or flooding during the event, Budafest staff will make an announcement informing attendees to evacuate the festival grounds and return to their cars. Those who rode the shuttle can shelter at the nearest emergency evacuation point until it is safe to return to the festival grounds or get on the shuttle safely. In the case of prolonged severe weather, shuttle buses will be rerouted to pick up attendees from their shelter points. All shelter points are indicated on the map above and in the table below:

If you are in Buda City Park, evacuate to the Old Buda Elementary School Cafeteria (300 N San Marcos St.)
If you are in the Craft Market, evacuate to the Buda Welcome Center (303 Main St.)
If you are in the Food Court/Main Stage, evacuate to Inspired Minds Art Center (121 Main St.)
